1. PURPOSE

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and standards for using the Tafit Auction platform.

All users must comply with this policy when accessing or using the Service.

2. GENERAL USE REQUIREMENTS

Users agree to:

• Use the platform in a lawful and honest manner
• Provide accurate information in listings and transactions
• Respect other users and engage in fair marketplace practices

3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

a) Fraud & Misrepresentation

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive listings
• Misrepresent ownership, condition, or authenticity of items
• Attempt to sell stolen or counterfeit goods

b) Bidding Abuse

• Place bids without intent to complete payment
• Artificially inflate bids (shill bidding)
• Use multiple accounts to manipulate auctions

c) Payment Abuse

• Refuse to complete payment after winning an auction
• Attempt chargebacks or payment reversals without valid reason
• Circumvent platform payment systems

d) Platform Exploitation

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the platform
• Use bots, scripts, or automation tools to gain unfair advantage
• Reverse engineer or exploit system vulnerabilities

e) Identity Abuse

• Impersonate another person or business
• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
• Use false or unverifiable information

f) Prohibited Items

Users may NOT list or trade:

• Illegal goods under Trinidad & Tobago law
• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
• Stolen or counterfeit items
• Restricted or regulated goods without authorization

g) Off-Platform Transactions

• Attempt to move transactions outside Tafit to avoid fees
• Share contact details to bypass the platform

4. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS (CRITICAL)

Tafit Tech Limited reserves the right to take action, including:

• Removal of listings
• Suspension or termination of accounts
• Blocking access to the platform
• Forfeiture of credits (TFT)
• Reporting to law enforcement where applicable

No prior notice is required.

5. INVESTIGATION & MONITORING

Tafit may:

• Monitor user activity
• Investigate suspicious behavior
• Use system logs and transaction data as evidence

6. USER RESPONSIBILITY

Users are fully responsible for:

• Their account activity
• All actions taken using their account
• Maintaining account security

Violations of this policy constitute a breach of those Terms.

10. FINAL AUTHORITY

All enforcement decisions made by Tafit Tech Limited are:
