1. INTERPRETATION & DEFINITIONS

Company refers to Tafit Tech Limited, LP#51 Toolsie Trace, St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago.

Service refers to the Tafit Auction website: https://tafitauction.com

User / You refers to any individual or entity using the Service.

TFT refers to Tafit Utility Token used for platform credits and features.

TTD refers to Tafit Treasury Token used as a pricing reference.

2. PLATFORM ROLE (IMPORTANT)

Tafit Tech Limited operates strictly as an online marketplace intermediary.

Tafit does NOT:

Own listed items
Act as buyer or seller
Guarantee transactions

All transactions occur directly between Users.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using this Service, You agree to these Terms.

You must be 18 years or older.

4. USE OF SERVICE

Users may:

Create one (1) account
List items or place bids
Purchase credits using approved payment methods

Users must NOT:

Post false or misleading listings
Violate any laws
Manipulate bids or exploit the platform

5. AUCTIONS & BINDING BIDS (CRITICAL)

All bids are legally binding.

If You win an auction, You are legally obligated to complete payment.

Failure to do so may result in:

Account suspension or termination
Loss of credits (TFT)
Permanent ban from the platform

6. NON-PAYMENT POLICY

Tafit does NOT guarantee buyer payment.

If a winning bidder fails to pay:

The item may be relisted
Tafit is not liable for lost sales

7. LISTINGS & SELLER RESPONSIBILITY

Sellers are fully responsible for:

Accuracy of listings
Ownership of items
Item condition
Delivery and fulfillment

Tafit does not verify listings and is not responsible for seller conduct.

8. PAYMENTS & ESCROW (FIXED)

Tafit may facilitate payments between users.

Tafit may temporarily hold funds via an escrow system.

However:

Tafit does NOT assume ownership of funds or goods
Tafit is NOT liable for transaction outcomes

9. CREDITS, TOKENS & PAYMENTS

TFT is a utility token used for platform services.

TTD is used for pricing reference only.

All purchases of credits and platform services are non-refundable.

10. REFUND POLICY (FIXED – VERY IMPORTANT)

All auctions are final.

Tafit does NOT guarantee refunds.

Refunds, if any, are issued:

At Tafit’s sole discretion
Only in exceptional cases

Tafit is NOT responsible for:

Item condition disputes
Delivery failures
Seller misrepresentation

11. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Users may NOT list:

Illegal goods
Stolen items
Restricted items under Trinidad & Tobago law

12. PRIVACY

User data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Tafit is not responsible for third-party websites or services.

14. TERMINATION

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (CRITICAL)

Tafit Tech Limited shall NOT be liable for:

Buyer or seller misconduct
Item disputes
Non-payment
Delivery issues
Platform downtime

Maximum liability is limited to:

Fees paid to Tafit only

16. DISCLAIMER

The platform is provided “as-is” without guarantees.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago.

18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Users must first contact Tafit for informal resolution.

Tafit is not obligated to enforce dispute outcomes.

19. CHANGES TO TERMS

Tafit may update these Terms at any time.
